Hey, I'm new to stocks and over the past few weeks I've been researching and watching the market to learn more about it. I wanted to see what the community thought of Costco at it's current price $151.00. It's currently at a lower then it was last year. P/E 26.17 (granted P/E is not everything).
Bull: The amazon and whole food reaction seems to be overblown and sales did go up 6% in June compared to last year.
Bear: Costco growth won't continue as it has been and the current price is overvalued so the market is correcting.
Is Costco a falling knife or is it undervalued and a cheap time to buy in?
I'm just looking for some opinions and methodology behind it.
